Last week was Vacation Bible School... and boy were we tired this past weekend. We ran all week.. and with Bruce in Louisiana again... that was no help! We missed him so much!
You know the cute little song "Anything you can do,
I can do better..." I swear that was Ashtyn this week.
His mother and I had nursery duty all week,
so we were lucky enough to catch all the action.
Tate would try something out; Ashtyn would see the
immediate need to try it out. She has absolutely
NO fears right now. Climbing the plastic "mountain"
was a favorite until it was determined to hide
the mountain in the bathroom.
Then it was the chairs. I think we spent half
of each night sounding like we were training puppies....
"No" .... "Sit" .... "Get down" .... "Wanna cookie?"
They finally decided to share one night. There
were a few sweet moments between the two.
And then a few heated moments. The minute
where Ashtyn couldn't figure out how
to clap one handed, then realized I'll just pat
my leg instead!!! Course you can see my little seat
hog was still trying the "I can do
better" song and dance!

I cannot thank you enough for all your work this week with vbs. I know it was even tougher since Bruce was in Louisianna. I coulndn't have done what you did and I couldn't have done my job without you! I have you something the next time I see you!

What a good looking couple of kids! Let's be thankful they're just trying to one up each other on toys and chairs. I don't want to think about when they start riding bicycles, or worse, driving!
