When I pick up Ashtyn from school each day and she's had a good day, I usually ask her what she wants to do. Today when asked she tells me "Um, clean house and then get Grammi over here!" I cracked up. I explain that we do need to clean house some, but I don't think Grammi's coming. "Uh, then let's not clean house. How about we do something else?" Now I'm cracking up even more!
So we get home and agree that she can watch Care Bears. I get her orange juice and get settled on my bed. Problem. I can't find the Google TV remote to access Netflix. So I just turn on the regular TV and find her some cartoons. I explain that if I can't find the big remote, then she'll just have to watch TV. Ashtyn finds a cable remote and brings it to me. "Let me show you how to do it. (pointing) You press these buttons here up and down and you find a channel. So now you can do it." Wow. My four year old thinks she's smarter than me. Mommies are getting dumb at an earlier age now I guess. :o)
