Ashtyn is 2!!!

Our sweet baby girl is now two! The terrible "twos" though not over, are getting better every week. Ashtyn has finally figured out to use words versus screaming to get what she wants. Her favorite things include paying outside, Shrek, jumping on our guest bed, chicken nuggets, shoes, wrestling with her daddy, and turning flips. She likes to sing, but we have no clue what she's saying still. We're still slow going on the potty training but that's just Ashtyn. I wouldn't change a thing!!

We let her have her gift from us the week before Bruce left for Minnesota as he couldn't be home on her actual birthday. I don't think she minded a bit...


And on her birthday had a small "party" with salads and pizza and cupcakes at the house with Grammi and Grampi.


She had a great party. Courtney made an awesome Shrek cake. Ashtyn had lots of friends and family to come celebrate with her! And afterward we went to Fuji for supper where the fun continued. She chopstick-sword fought a guy at our grill, chopstick fought the chef, ran off with one of the hostesses to play... I wish I had pictures of all of the excitement!
