It's almost here =) =(

This time three years ago, Bruce and I were just getting to NEA Hospital, ready to be checked in and get the show on the road. I didn't sleep at all that night. I was so excited, and then the contractions -even though not painful- were strong enough to keep waking me up in the wee hours of the morning. Then we met Ashtyn Monday night at 7:24pm and started this wonderful journey of boo-boos, frills, tantrums, and giggles.

Ashtyn's 3rd birthday starts even more firsts! She'll be able to start karate or gymnastics this year,start check-ups with the dentist, start asking the 5 "W" questions, and more I just can't think of at the moment. I think this birthday is breaking my heart. I have no clue how I'll make it the birthday before kindergarten. I won't even think about the graduation itself yet. *sniff sniff*

Her "castle" from Grammi and PawPaw is done. Poor Bruce finished it LATE last night so he didn't get to see her slide and swing for the first time today. But I couldn't hold her off it any longer.

Tomorrow, I'll still have to go to work and she to school. But I will be taking cupcakes on my lunch (their naptime) for them to have an afternoon birthday party. We'll probably have a small birthday party when Bruce gets home tomorrow night.

I'll surely be posting more over the next week so I'll leave it at that for now with a few more pictures....
