4th of July

Really, I should title this about the 3rd. Bruce had to work pretty much the whole weekend so we only did something on the 3rd. We were given tickets to a Redbirds game with a short firework show after the game.

We totally lucked out. We sat right behind someone from the team. They were able to wave at Rocky and pointed to Ashtyn, so he came right on over and gave her a kiss and held her hand for a second. She was so excited! Just wish I had gotten a picture. It was sweet! Plus they caught a plush ball and gave it to her, cheered with her... I think they were having a lot of fun just "entertaining" her.

The fireworks show was only 7 minutes long, but it was the most amazingly crafted show of fireworks I've ever seen. Ash was in awe the whole time. Here's a few pictures from the game....
