Yay!!! We were lucky to have my parents come for a quick weekend visit this weekend. Dad had to work Saturday but they still made it into town for a tacos and ice cream pizza cookie supper.
Ashtyn thought it was Christmas in July. We just got done watching a commercial mentioning Christmas in July, and then in come my parents with three new adorable outfits for Ashtyn and a nurse dress-up outfit and all the accessories (stethoscope, syringe, bandage, blood pressure cuff, etc)!
Sunday, we had some breakfast and then headed off to the mall to let Ashtyn ride the train. She and Grammi rode the carousel together. And then Ashtyn did the Spider Jump for a minute. I think she's going to need to go back several more times before she gets warmed up to really jumping. Did a little shopping, lots of browsing, and then we all headed back to the house for pizza and a nap times 5!
It was a short visit, but we had a great time. Throw in some catepillar catching with the "baccuum" and as always with Ashtyn.... there's never a dull moment! Just ready for it to cool down a little so we can all go to the zoo!
