"Me-mo"

Ashtyn has grown out of her Shrek phase, only to be replaced with the "Me-mo" and Dory phase. Now we watch lots of Finding Nemo; we watch it usually twice a day. Course we hear a "later dude" now and then which makes it all worth it. I welcome the change of movie from Shrek, except I find myself singing the very short jingles over and over ALL DAY long. "Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. Just keep swim-ming." *sigh*

This week was a productive week. We are no longer homeowners. We closed yesterday on our house sale here in Jonesboro. It was very sad. Today I met the people that are renting the house after we move out. That was surreal and another heartbreak. It's something you just don't want to think about, but they were extremely nice. Now it's time for the countdown to closing on our house in Bartlett - 11 days to go! Keep your fingers crossed!!! I found an job with an agent in Bartlett on Wednesday. He's "neat" as some might say. He's been a State Farm agent for 41 years, has an office manager of 27 years named Bunny, and seriously, no joke - drives a Ferrari. My last day working in Jonesboro is July 24th. This gives me time to help train my replacement and wrap up everything here. We've got a few leads on daycares as well this week, but need to go tour them the day we close on our house before I actually pay any registration fees.

Please keep my mom and dad in your prayers. The move is a lot for my mom considering she sees us daily Monday through Friday. Work is always something. And on top of this, dad is having health problems. He got out of the hospital Tuesday morning (went in Sunday night) with a weird serious infection, being treated with high-power antibiotics. Today they discovered he has some sort of internal bleeding. Could be as simple as ulcers - not that it isn't concerning - or may be something super serious. He will have to start some testing next week to determine the cause and figure out a course of treatment for this.

OH my stars, the house business all makes your moving seem real. My heart breaks for your mom because you are and Ashtyn are so much apart of her life. I bet she visits frequently! haha.

We had a NEmo phase at our house and I still say, "keep on swimming, keep on swimming." or change it to whatever I'm doing at the time - so it never gets out of your head! ha.
