We were headed to church Sunday, all in a pretty good mood. I can't remember what Ashtyn was playing with back in her car seat, but she dropped it.
Melodramaticly she says "Oh God!"
I turn around and tell her "Oh no baby, you can't say that. You say 'Oh gosh' when you drop something."
Without feeling this time, she repeats "Oh God!"
"Ashtyn, no! You don't say that, baby! You say 'I dropped it' or 'Oh GAWSH'," drawing out the word gosh so she could hear the difference.
Without missing a beat she quips "Oh shit!"
That's my girl.

I'm behind in reading blogs but wanted to let you know that this made me laugh out loud!! I had to read it to Chandler.Those are words I'm sure we'll be hearing Adalyn say soon enough.
