By no means am I looking down on regifting. I'm all about being thrifty and passing along something you will not use to someone who would use it! This story is for humorous intent only!!!
However, I offer some people who shall remain nameless on this blog a resolution regarding regifting: "I will check all dates before giving it again!!!" For example, the person who receives and tries to use the gift on 01-01-2011 might not like to see "BEST USE BEFORE NOV 2009" printed on the item. Oh yeah. This happened.
All joking aside, I do have an item received for Christmas that I'd like to offer to someone who could put it to good use... I received a king size comforter set in black/silver jacquard print that doesn't match our decor (all browns/golds). I'd prefer to pass it along to anyone you might know that suffers a loss (i.e. house fire) or just down on their luck and could really use a new set. If I still have it come spring, I'll just take it on to the Goodwill/Salvation Army.
