My little girl is a hoot. She's absolutely the funniest thing! One evening last week, I came home from work and promptly dressed in my favorite gear... lounge pants/pjs. Nothing too crazy... loose cuff sweats and thermal t-shirt. I still couldn't get warm enough. Rather than turn up the heat, I grabbed my long fuzzy leopard housecoat. Ashtyn's reaction? With a puzzled look "Mommy, I love your coat dress shirt thingy, (long pause with continued puzzled look) but you're not a grandma!" I thought I'd never stop laughing.
Last night as I'm picking up the house I heard Ashtyn talking normal, then in an unusual voice, then normal, back and forth. I sneak a peak over the back of the couch to see what she's doing. She's sitting there crunched up having a conversation with her belly button, squeezing the skin to make it "talk" back to her. She looks at me "What?!" I told her just to go back to her conversation, so she does. Rolling on the floor now.
So, I'm waiting to see what happens tonight!
